Know your Mobile Phone's Quality using the IMEI Number

What is an IMEI....???

An IMEI means International Mobile Equipment Identity. It is a number unique to every mobile phone.

To know the IMEI of your phone, just type *#06#

To know the quality of your mobile phone, just type *#06#. Then it will show the phone's IMEI Number on the screen. It will be a 15 or 17 digit number.

Now check the 7th and 8th digit of this IMEI Number.

• If the 7th and 8th digits are 02 or 20, this means that your phone was assembled in Emirates which is Bad Quality.

• If the 7th and 8th digits are 08 or 80, this means that your phone was manufactured in Germany which is Fair Quality.

• If the 7th and 8th digits are 01 or 10, this means that your phone was manufactured in Finland which is Very Good Quality.

• If the 7th and 8th digits are 00, this means that your phone was manufactured in the Original Factory which is the Best Mobile Quality.
  

• If the 7th and 8th digits are 13, this means that your phone was assembled in Azerbaijan which is Very Bad Quality and also dangerous for your health.
