Orkut Team has introduced the new version of Orkut with exciting new features. You can try this new version only if u get an invite from the Orkut Team or a friend of yours who is using the new version of Orkut. And, now this new version is available only to a few users.
Features of the New Version:
- Simple and Fast loading pages.
- Faster photo uploads and photo sharing
- You can change the color of your profile.
- ''About me'' section with more customization. Now you are able to add photo, embed video, or embed apps in your ''about me'' section.
- You can write comments for status, photos, and videos of your friends with easy inline comments on friend updates.
- Inline video play makes it easy to watch your friend's video on the friend updates.
- Latest activity updates on friends profiles.
- Easy navigation to other Google properties (Web, Maps, News, Shopping etc)
- Video Chat.
- You can quickly find a friend directly from the home page with the new scrolling friends list. Same in the case of communities also.
- The ''what's new'' section of your profile shows all notifications (friend requests, testimonials, birthday announcements etc).
