How to run APK files (Android Apps) on your PC

APK stands for Android Application Package, which is the file format used to distribute and install application software and middleware onto Google's Android operating system.

To run these apk files on pc, you need another program to install and execute the apk. Here i'm using a program called BlueStacks App Player. Bluestacks is a Silicon Valley-based software company that produces BlueStacks App Player and BlueStacks Cloud Connect. Both products are designed to enable Android applications to run on Windows PCs, Macintosh computers and Windows tablets.

[ TIP / TRICK ] Disable Microsoft Error Reporting

This error report sending message can become quite annoying at times; it keeps on bugging the user. Not to worry about. There is a simple way to get rid of it:

1.Right Click on My Computer. Go to Properties.
2. Now go to the Advanced tab.
3.Under the advanced tab, at the bottom, click on Error reporting. Now click on Disable error reporting and then click OK.

You are done. You will not receive the error sending report anymore.

[ TRICK / TIP ] Change Drive Letters ( C:\ , D:\ , etc )

To change Drive Letters ( in My Computer ), do the following:

1. Go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Management

2. Then Right Click the partition whose name you want to change and select "change drive letter and paths"

3. Then you can add, remove, or change drive letters and paths to the partition

[ TRICK / TIP ] Change Icons For My Computer, My Documents, My Network Places, and Recycle Bin

To change the icons for My Computer, My Documents, My Network Places, and Recycle Bin. Follow the steps below:

Step 1: Right - click on " Desktop " and take " Properties "

Step 2: ,When the " Display Properties " dialog box appears, click the " Desktop " tab

Step 3: Then click " Customize Desktop " button

Step 4: A " Desktop Items " dialog box will appear. Make sure the " General " tab is selected.

Step 5: Click on an icon to change:

* My Computer
* My Documents
* My Network Places
* Recycle Bin (full)
* Recycle Bin (empty)

6. Click " Change Icon "

[TRICK] Remove Shortcut Arrows From The Desktop Icons

1. Go to Start Menu -> Run, and then type regedit and press Enter

2. Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT -> lnkfile 

3. On the right window, you can see a String Value named IsShortcut. Delete it.

4. Again, Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT -> piffile

5. Again, on the right window, you can see a String Value named IsShortcut. Delete it.

6. Restart your PC

[TRICK] Hide File In Image

1. Gather the file you wish to bind, and the image file, and place them in a folder. 

  For example, I will be using D:\New Folder
-The image will hereby be referred to in all examples as image.jpg
-The file will hereby be referred to in all examples as file.txt

2. Add the file/files you will be injecting into the image into a WinRar .rar or .zip. From here on this will be referred to as trick.rar

3. Open command prompt by going to Start > Run and, then type cmd and hit Enter

4. In Command Prompt, navigate to the folder where your two files are by typing
cd location [ex: cd D:\New Folder]

[ TRICK ] Make The Folder Invisible Without Hiding

Make Your Folders Invisible

1.Right Click on the desktop and Make a New Folder

2. Now Rename the folder with a space (Hold ALT Key and press 0160 using the num pad and press enter)

3. Now you have a folder with out a name.

4. Right click on the Folder -> Properties -> Customize. Click on Change icon.

5. Scroll a bit, you should find some empty spaces. Click on any one of them.

Click OK. That’s it.

[ TRICK ] Get Background Image In Your Drive

1. Open Notepad

2. Copy and Paste the below code: 

[{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}]

iconarea_image=C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper\Bliss.bmp

iconarea_text=0x00FFFFFF  

You can change the image by changing the address of the image shown in " iconarea_image " in the above code.

3. Then Save this file as desktop.ini
4. Put this file [ desktop.ini ] in starting of any drive. Example: C:\ 

Note:  I have tested this and it works on my Windows XP Professional - Service Pack 2. Not sure about other Windows OS.

Some Notepad Tricks

 

1.Open Notepad
2.Then type bush hid the facts
3. Save the file and close it
4. Open the Saved file and see...its a bug in Windows

Another Notepad Trick
1.Open Notepad
2. Then type Q33N (It is the number of the plane which crashed the World Trade Center)
3. Select the typed text. Click Format -> Font. Then Change the Font to Wingdings and Font Size to 72 and see the magic.

Tricks of G - Talk

 

Change the font size - While holding the control key, move the scroll wheel on your mouse either up or down. This trick works while being focused in either the read or write area.

Insert line breaks - If you want to have a message that spans multiple paragraphs, just hold shift and hit enter. You can add as many new lines as you want to create.

Bold Text - To write something bold, you can use an asterisk ( * ) before and after the word, like *this* .

Some Keyboard Shortcuts For Windows 7

Windows Key  + UP Arrow or Windows Key + Down Arrow: Maximize, Resize or Minimize the selected windows.

Windows Key + ' +' and  Windows Key + ' - ': Zooms In or Zooms Out to the area on the desktop where the mouse cursor is resting (It opens up the magnifier).

Windows Key + Right Arrow or Windows Key + Left Arrow: Fills left or right half of the screen with the selected windows.

Windows Key + E: Opens up a new explorer window.

Windows Key + P: It pops up handy window to configure a dual monitor system or a projector.

Alt + P: Opens up a preview window while watching images from a folder.

Run Command Secrets

Many times a question may arise that, how the Run Commands are processed with such typical keywords...

Like gpedit.msc or access.cpl or even simple explore without any extension!!!

Well if you surf your systems and checked the C:\Windows\System32\ folder then you will get the answer...

Actually the Run Commands internally invokes the system applications from the C:\Windows\System32\ folder, where the Operating System stores all the important applications and the dll files...
